About the role
At Techleap Community, we believe founders make better decisions when they're surrounded by the right people. Our mission is to build the trusted network where Europe's most ambitious founders connect, learn and help one another scale.
We're a small team running a big community. That only works because we relentlessly look for leverage. AI isn't a side project for us — it's part of how we operate, how we build products, and how our members experience the community.
This isn't a traditional Product Manager role, and it isn't a traditional Software Engineer role either. It's where product thinking, engineering, AI and operations collide.
You'll identify opportunities, build solutions, ship quickly, automate relentlessly and continuously improve both how our team works and how our members engage with the Techleap Community.
What you'll build
Your role has two equally important missions.
Build an AI-native organisation
Our team runs community operations, events, marketing, partnerships, finance and analytics.
We've already built a solid AI foundation. The team is comfortable working with modern AI tools and workflows, but we're only scratching the surface of what's possible.
Your mission is simple: increase the leverage of every person at Techleap. You'll own our internal AI ecosystem by:
- Continuously improving our AI stack.
- Building AI workflows, automations and agents.
- Eliminating repetitive work across the organisation.
- Introducing new AI capabilities for every team.
- Managing prompts, knowledge, workflows and internal tooling.
- Improving reporting and decision-making through AI.
- Coaching colleagues on better ways of working.
- Keeping our AI infrastructure secure, reliable and maintainable.
Success isn't measured by how many AI tools we use. It's measured by how much more effective our team becomes.
Build an AI-native community platform
We've built our own platform because we believe software should strengthen communities — not replace them. Today it powers memberships, events, billing, partner management, the marketplace and community interactions.
Tomorrow it should become an intelligent platform that helps founders:
- Discover the right people at the right moment.
- Receive relevant introductions.
- Find knowledge faster.
- Navigate the community effortlessly.
- Make better strategic decisions through trusted peer connections.
You'll own this platform end-to-end: product direction, AI capabilities, feature development, technical architecture, infrastructure, security, reliability and developer experience.
You'll spend as much time talking with founders and operators as you do building. Your job is to translate real founder problems into software that genuinely improves the quality of decisions and connections across the community.
What success looks like
After your first year:
- AI is embedded into the daily workflows of every Techleap team.
- Our team accomplishes significantly more with the same number of people.
- The community platform has become a strategic advantage for our members.
- Member engagement on the platform has increased meaningfully.
- New ideas move from concept to production in days instead of months.
- Founders consistently tell us the platform helps them make better connections and better decisions.

We hire people who create momentum on their own. Because of that, you'll have an unusual amount of ownership over both our internal AI capabilities and our community platform.
Your background
We're much more interested in what you've built than the exact title you've held. You might currently be a:
- Product Engineer
- AI Builder
- Founding Engineer
- Technical Product Manager
- Full-stack Developer with strong product instincts
- Startup CTO or early engineering hire
You have strong engineering fundamentals, excellent product intuition and a bias toward shipping. You understand modern AI tooling and know how to turn new capabilities into practical products and workflows.
You're comfortable discussing architecture with a CTO in the morning and helping a teammate automate their work in the afternoon.
Our technology
Technology changes quickly, so we hire for learning ability rather than specific frameworks. Today our platform includes technologies such as:
